Individual, Relationship, and Family Therapy inquiries...
As part of our mission to provide therapy to those of varying income levels, we offer a sliding fee scale. We also accept the following insurance plans: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Medical Assistance.
After you submit the inquiry form, one of our members will get back to you and can answer any questions you have about session fee, insurance, the process, and our practice.
The therapists at the Growth Center often have waitlists. The time on the waitlist varies considerably depending on the caseloads of each therapist at The Growth Center. We'd love to hear from you! You are welcome to reach out to inquire if there are any therapists with current availability.
New clients are called from the wait list when there is a therapist who has an opening that matches with the client’s availability and insurance.
For instance, somebody with a very flexible schedule will be seen sooner than somebody who can only come during certain hours. Also, not all of our therapists can accept all insurances, so somebody with, for instance, Blue Cross may be seen sooner than someone with Cigna or Aetna.

Group Therapy inquiries...
We typically offer 1-2 group therapy series/year. While we are not currently offering any group therapy options, you are welcome to add your name to our waitlist.
Historically, we have offered the following groups:
Monday Therapy Group: Our ongoing therapy group is open to all genders. Work on your personal goals while getting support and perspective from the group. Group work can: counteract feelings of isolation, offer the opportunity to be real with others, and help you see your patterns of relating. Explore new communication skills in an environment of safety and respect.
Mindful Eating Workshop: Explore your relationship with food! We’ll learn to notice what happens when we diet/deprive/restrict, when we overeat, when we eat from physical hunger, when we eat from emotional hunger. We’ll explore how our relationship with food shines a light on our relationships with other aspects of our lives, and we’ll practice paying attention to what we really want.
Is there another group you'd be interested in? We'd love to hear your suggestions!

Consultation & Supervision inquiries...
We unapologetically ground our practice in feminist therapy principles, and we'd love to share this approach with you! In addition to this approach, our members specialize in working with trans folks. We are happy to provide consultations to mental health providers seeking to deepen and expand their perspective.
We are not currently offering on-going supervision, however we're happy to take down your information. When we are able to offer this again, we will reach out.
